We’re looking for a Freelance PR & Communications Specialist to drive Veriam’s presence in the tech and SaaS space. You’ll focus on thought leadership, press releases, and media relations, ensuring Veriam stays in front of key audiences in IAM, cybersecurity, and subscription management.

This role is perfect for someone with extensive experience in the PR space, strong writing skills, media connections, and a strategic mindset who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop thought leadership content – Write guest articles, op-eds, and industry insights focused on IAM, SaaS, and security.
• Craft & distribute press releases – Announce product updates, partnerships, and milestones to relevant tech and SaaS media.
• Engage with media & journalists – Build relationships with editors and reporters in SaaS, cybersecurity, and IAM spaces.
• Pitch & place content – Secure speaking opportunities, bylines, and interviews to boost Veriam’s industry authority.
• Collaborate with marketing – Align PR efforts with social media and content strategies to maximize brand impact.
• Track PR performance – Monitor press coverage, brand mentions, and media engagement, providing insights on outreach success.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of PR & communications experience, preferably in B2B tech, SaaS, IAM, or cybersecurity.
• Strong writing skills – Can craft compelling press releases, thought leadership pieces, and editorials.
• Media relationships – Existing connections in tech journalism or the ability to build them quickly.
• Strategic thinker – Knows how to position a startup as an industry leader through smart storytelling.
• Self-motivated & remote-friendly – Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, flexible work environment.
• Familiarity with PR tools – Google Workspace (Docs, Chat, Drive) and any media outreach tools are a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring and guiding developers.
